## Description

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our Publishing & Partnerships team at Ubisoft. As a mid-senior level professional, you will work closely with our Global Publishing teams and contribute to the implementation of Ubisoft's publishing strategy.

Your main responsibilities will include:

**Transactions and Strategic Negotiations**

- Participate in strategic negotiations with Publishing and Sales teams regarding commercial partnerships and distribution agreements for our games

- Draft and negotiate distribution contracts with console manufacturers, digital platforms, and technology providers

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consideration of all relevant issues during negotiations

- Monitor contract implementation and provide guidance to operational teams on interpretation and application

**Operational Legal Support**

- Provide advice to operational teams on competition law and market practices related to distribution and commercial negotiations

- Offer practical, business-oriented advice on various operational topics in an international environment

**Development of Expertise in New Technologies and Distribution Methods**

- Stay up-to-date on technological, market, and legal developments in the video game industry

- Translate these developments into concrete recommendations for internal teams

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the legal implications of evolving distribution models and technologies

**Requirements**

- Relevant experience in commercial transactions, business law, and/or intellectual property

- Proven ability to identify key legal and business issues quickly

- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, ideally with experience working with major digital players or technology companies

- Strong command of English; fluency in French is a plus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
