## Description

The Inbound Operations Executive Team Leader role at Target involves leading inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise areas of the store. The successful candidate will have experience in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and team management.

Responsibilities include:

- Consistently delivering guest experience commitments

- Holding team leaders accountable for exceptional guest experiences

- Reviewing area guest, financial, and team metrics to identify gaps

- Celebrating wins, setting priorities, and driving results

- Partnering across teams to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Leading and creating a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience

- Driving total store sales and demonstrating impact on profitability

- Safely and efficiently unloading merchandise trailers and preparing product for merchandising

- Building and managing a team to be experts in operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all inbound processes

- Developing a strategy and utilizing workload planning tools to complete all scheduled workload

- Creating a scheduling plan with information provided by team leaders

- Managing all GM backroom and sales floor areas and reviewing reporting to identify gaps

- Enabling a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is available for purchase

- Planning, managing, and following up on organizational and operational change

- Anticipating short-term and long-term staffing needs and managing talent planning and recruitment

- Establishing and maintaining a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management

- Demonstrating inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches

- Demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance

- Developing and leading the safety culture and performance of the department

- Leading an in-store security culture by focusing on deterrence, response, and resolution

- Leading merchandise protection strategies across the total store

- Creating, leading, and modeling a culture of executing all best practices

- Implementing all safe and secure training and processes

- Addressing all store and offsite emergency and compliance needs

- Regularly assuming store-level leadership on duty responsibilities

Requirements:

- 4-year degree or equivalent experience

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Strong business acumen

- Comfortable dealing with and managing teams through ambiguity

- Managing conflict, leading, and holding others accountable

- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis

- Relating well with and interacting with all levels of the organization

- Learning and adapting to evolving technology needs

- Managing workload and prioritizing tasks independently

- Accessing all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

- Interpreting instructions, reports, and information

- Scanning, handling, and moving merchandise efficiently and safely

- Accurately handling cash register operations as needed
