## Description

NVIDIA is seeking an AI Agent Software Engineer Intern to join their team. As an intern, you will be immersed in an inclusive and encouraging environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work.

The role involves identifying bottlenecks in software development workflows, forming testable hypotheses, and rapidly building prototypes that demonstrate measurable improvements in developer efficiency. You will also design and implement AI-agent capabilities for tasks such as code generation, debugging, testing, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and long-running development tasks.

Responsibilities:

- Identify bottlenecks in software development workflows and build prototypes to improve developer efficiency

- Design and implement AI-agent capabilities for code generation, debugging, testing, and more

- Collaborate with software engineers, AI researchers, and infrastructure teams to integrate agent-based solutions

- Evaluate agent systems through reproducible experiments and analyze reliability, accuracy, latency, and resource usage

- Turn successful experiments into robust, maintainable Python software

Requirements:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Strong programming and software engineering skills, particularly in Python

- Solid understanding of core computer science topics, including operating systems, computer networks, and distributed systems

- Strong self-motivation and problem-solving ability

- Good written and spoken English skills

- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools

Nice to Have:

- Experience building AI agents, coding assistants, or autonomous development workflows

- Familiarity with agent frameworks and open-source projects

- Experience evaluating large language model applications

- Contributions to open-source projects or technically ambitious personal projects
