## Description

We are seeking an Engineer Specialist Maintenance to join our team in Chihuahua, Mexico.

The successful candidate will have a fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls, electrical background, and experience with Allen Bradley Panel View, AB Servo, and AB VFD drives.

Responsibilities:

- Use Vis Plant monitoring software to review cycle times of automation and follow up on automation projects and installations

- Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems supporting day-to-day production issues

- Reprogram automation for engineering changes and improvements

- Define, design, and maintain the plant controls strategy

- Review, approve, and load machine controls software

- Conduct Machine Acceptance for new and retool equipment

- Review and approve technical drawings

- Prepare projects to improve machine controls and issue PIR's and orders

- Conduct technical review of recaps

- Review and approve new technologies, materials, and components

- Provide technical support for energy efficiency activities

- Coordinate and support vendor installations in plant

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls

- Electrical background

- Experience with Allen Bradley Panel View, AB Servo, and AB VFD drives

- Familiarity with VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls

- Strong problem-solving skills, including 8Ds, FMEAs, and DMAICs

- Ability to independently troubleshoot all body equipment

- Fanuc robot experience

- Kawasaki programming, RS Logics, Microsoft office

- PLC

- Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics

- Experienced in laser burning

- Strong understanding of conveyors system programming and body tooling techniques

- Networking understanding, DH+, Ethernet, remote IO

- Ability to read blueprints

- Simulation modeling exposure

- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience
