## Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to develop sales of translation and language solutions services for a global company. The successful candidate will be based out of the company's head office in Buckinghamshire and will work UK-wide.

The role involves:

- Sourcing and closing new clients from various industry sectors through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means

- Generating, pursuing, and closing translation and interpreting opportunities in key sectors and with target companies

- Developing and managing sales pipeline, revenue forecasting, and reporting

- Managing prospect pipeline and recording customer interactions

- Creating, maintaining, and leveraging client relationships

- Using market knowledge to identify and promote the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

- Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients

- Formulating sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

- Setting and managing client expectations while consulting with each client for best practices

The ideal candidate will have:

- Fluency in English

- A university college degree (BA, BS)

- Proven experience selling translation, interpreting, and localisation services

- Negotiation and deal-closing skills

- Strong communication skills, including presentation and pitch delivery

- Business analysis, planning, and organisational skills

- Experience working to high-value sales targets

- Commercial awareness and results focus

- Ability to engage and consult with senior-level management

- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track sales activity

- Effective time management skills and attention to detail

The salary range is £40,000 - £50,000, plus commission (OTE circa £80,000+), with excellent benefits.
