At Davies, people are at the heart of all they do. As a Casualty Claims Handler, you will efficiently handle EL & PL claims for personal injury and third-party property damage. You will manage an allocated caseload, complete enquiries, report to clients, and ensure claims are handled proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and brokers

- Investigate allocated claims

- Obtain necessary evidence and documentation

- Determine actions for case resolution

- Prepare detailed reports

- Negotiate settlements

- Correspond with parties professionally

- Handle cases according to client requirements

- Maintain proper reserves

- Stay updated on technical changes

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

- Experience handling EL & PL claims

- Experience handling personal injury and third-party property damage

- Knowledge of injury claim valuation

- Knowledge of reserving philosophies

- Knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Claims Portal

- Good communication skills

- Excellent customer service

- Teamwork and adaptability

- Good planning and organisational skills

- Strong IT skills
