## Description

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Augusta, ME. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within our store. You will be the first point of contact to assist our patients and customers, ensuring an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care

- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices to manage and improve patient health

- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care

- Complete basic inventory activities, such as accurately putting away medication deliveries and completing cycle counts

- Support immunizations, including preparing and administering vaccines

- Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, while contributing to a safe and inclusive team dynamic

Requirements:

- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy

- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

- Attention and focus to concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs

- Excellent customer service and team orientation skills

- Strong communication and mathematical reasoning skills

- Physical demands include mobility, lifting, scanning, and bagging items

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician

- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

- Ability to work in the home store and across the market in other locations
