## Description

The Meriden Hospital in Coventry, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to join the Pre Assessment department. This is a part-time role at 22.5 hours a week with the opportunity to increase to full-time hours in the future.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients. Key responsibilities include:

- Using advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary

- Administering medication safely and monitoring patient response

- Delegating tasks appropriately to ensure safe and effective workload management

- Upholding a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, and risk reporting procedures

- Acting as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates and information

- Liaising effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care

Applicants should have:

- Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)

- Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team

- Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team

The salary for this role is up to £39,000.00 FTE per year, depending on level of experience, training, and qualification. Benefits include:
