## Description

We are seeking a Principal / Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mining and Minerals business. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to concept studies and engineering roles for mineral processing plants, supporting small to large-scale projects in a multi-discipline environment.

The successful candidate will have a degree in mechanical or mineral engineering and be able to:

- Contribute to layout, design, and specification of mineral processing, metallurgical, and hydrometallurgical processing facilities, as well as materials handling facilities

- Liaise with other engineering and project disciplines to capture equipment requirements and feed back into the process plant design process

- Specify and select equipment, engaging with the equipment supply chain to ensure project needs are met

- Ensure work complies with corporate and legislative requirements and procedures

- Address and resolve functional issues within a project using technical capabilities and engineering judgement

- Generate innovative solutions and value-adding options within projects

We are looking for candidates with:

- A degree in mechanical or mineral engineering

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams

- Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally
