## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Perioperative Practitioner to join our high-performing Theatre Team on a permanent full-time basis at Spire Southampton Hospital. As a Perioperative Practitioner - Cardiac Scrub, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of surgeons and healthcare professionals.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism for Cardiac

- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload

- Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their well-being

- Provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre

**Requirements:**

- Qualified ODP/Scrub Nurse

- Surgical First Assistant desirable

- NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin

- At least 2 years scrub experience in cardiac

- Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting

**Working Hours:** Full-time, 37.5 hours on rota basis

**Contract Type:** Permanent
