## Description

As a Cisco Hardware Engineer, you will develop and work with Next Generation Technology to build Cisco Hardware products, focusing on user experience and adherence to IEEE standards and industry best practices.

You will serve various roles, from IP Creator and architect to Solution Integrator and Solution Verifier, driving innovation across Cisco's hardware portfolio, including System/Board Design, Circuit Board Layout, Hardware Automation, Validation and Test, Signal Integrity, and Power Design.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and resolving complex problems impacting business direction

- Developing and delivering innovative strategies benefiting customers

- Leading major business projects and contributing to annual organizational objectives

- Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders

- Driving innovation on large features and mentoring others

- Championing the design of new hardware devices and systems

- Influencing technical direction and deliverables across functions

- Serving as a technical expert on testing, verification, and issue resolution

- Resolving highly complex configuration and installation issues

- Leading, mentoring, and influencing senior engineers

- Improving knowledge sharing processes

Minimum qualifications include:

- Bachelor's degree + 12 years of related experience

- Master's degree + 8 years of related experience

- PhD + 5 years of related experience
