## Description

We are seeking a Senior Avaloq Developer to design, develop, and improve software that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

As a Senior Avaloq Developer, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and delivering high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and devise solution strategies

- Participating in code reviews and promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing

- Staying informed about industry technology trends and contributing to the organisation's technology communities

- Adhering to secure coding practices and implementing effective unit testing practices

As an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to:

- Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and take responsibility for operational effectiveness

- Lead a team performing complex tasks and set objectives for team members

- Collaborate with other functions and business divisions

- Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering

- At least 8 years of application development experience, with 5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL in banking applications or products

- Experience working in a large IT organisation in a support environment

- Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Avaloq script, UNIX, Agile Central, and SVN

- Experience with banking products, such as Avaloq, Finacle, T24, or BaNCS

- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and banking applications
