## Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support our organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

As a Senior Business Analyst at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of our digital solutions development, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.

**Accountabilities:**

- Identify and analyse business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.

- Develop business requirements that address business problems and opportunities.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.

- Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.

- Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.

- Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.

- Create operational design and process design to ensure proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.

- Support change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

**Assistant Vice President Expectations:**

- Advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.

- Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well-developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver work that impacts the whole business function.

- Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.

- Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraise performance relative to objectives and determine reward outcomes.

**Requirements:**

- Experience with domain expertise in Retail/Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, Risk & Compliance.

- Business analysis and requirement documentation skills, including BRD, FRD, use case, user stories, process flows, wireframes and gap analysis.

- Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, user story writing, sprint planning and backlog grooming.

- Data analysis skills, including SQL, data mapping and XML.

- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence and MS Visio.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Testing support, including SIT/UAT support, test case review and defect management.

**Preferred Skills:**

- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools, such as Tableau/Power BI.

- Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts.

- BA certifications, such as CBAP/CCBA.
