## Description

As a Physician in Gastroenterology, you will join an established Inflammatory Bowel Disease practice that is part of a nationally recognized health system and is Utah’s most extensive health care network, offering top-tier patient care.

The expanding multidisciplinary IBD team is led by an IBD Medical Director and includes an IBD Registered Dietitian, an IBD RN, and a comprehensive care model. The practice is experiencing significant growth and has an excellent tertiary-referral base to the IBD clinic, comprised of employed and affiliated PCPs, GI providers and colorectal surgeons.

Key aspects of the role:

- Starting base salary of $650,000 annually

- $50,000 starting bonus

- Up to $20,000 in relocation assistance

- $1,500 monthly training stipend for up to two years

- Up to $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable

- Opportunities for future AEC opportunities

Responsibilities and benefits:

- Practice at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah

- Dedicate at least 50% of clinical care time to IBD care

- Shared call schedule with a minimum of 1:5 and additional call pay for extra call shifts

- Support from a network of affiliated primary care and specialty care physicians

Requirements:

- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

- U.S. ACGME Residency training in Internal Medicine

- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) or Gastroenterology

- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
