## Description

Syneos Health is seeking a Sr Medical Scientist to work with the Medical Director to develop medical plans, engage with outside experts, and analyze data to identify risks and trends. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical data review and eligibility review, and be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

- Develop medical plans, including Medical Management Plan, Medical Data Review Plan, and Eligibility Review Plan

- Engage with outside experts to coordinate acquisition of necessary medical/scientific input

- Perform regular and ad-hoc medical review of data listings and data visualization

- Analyze data to identify risks and data patterns/trends

- Author medical data queries and review query responses

- Approve query closure in association with Medical Director

- Assist Medical Director in patient profiles review, scientific review of other study level data, protocol deviation review, and creation of Medical Review Summary report

- Partner with Medical Directors for medical data review meetings and safety review meetings

- Manage project scope of work, objectives, and quality of deliverables

- Collaborate with study team members to identify risks related to data integrity and subject safety

- Attend and present at Trusted Process meetings and participate in internal and external audits

- Acquire basic understanding and knowledge of ongoing protocol designs and disease-related terminology and pathology

- Adhere to all data privacy guidelines, ICH, and GCPs
