## Description

Join M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Food section at New Mersey Simply Food, where you'll provide exceptional customer service, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and support sales growth.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring customers feel valued and supported

- Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to make recommendations and drive sales

- Utilising digital tools, such as the Sparks App and in-store devices, to enhance the customer experience

- Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment

- Adapting to changing demands and priorities in a dynamic retail setting

As a Customer Assistant, you will be expected to:

- Work a variety of shifts, including Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, with potential for increased hours during peak periods

- Embrace a flexible approach to work, with willingness to cover different areas of the store as needed

- Develop strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and colleagues

- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the store
