## Description

The Business Insurance IT Agile Delivery team is responsible for enabling efficient, iterative delivery of technology solutions that support core business insurance operations.

The FBS Scrum Master II role involves serving as a servant leader for multiple teams and their stakeholders, coordinating with internal and external teams to resolve dependencies, identifying and eliminating impediments, and facilitating flow.

Key responsibilities include:

- Acting as a servant leader for multiple teams and their stakeholders

- Aiding the team and Product Owner in efforts to manage and sequence the backlog

- Leading moderately complex teams with work involving routine external team impact or dependencies

- Eliminating impediments and resolving issues with occasional support from Release Train Engineer or other resources

- Resolving and managing dependencies with occasional guidance from Release Train Engineer or other resources

- Assisting in building a high-performing team and fostering relentless improvement at the Team level

- Identifying SAFe anti-patterns and resolving with occasional support

- Applying SAFe principles to facilitation, enablement, and coaching

- Mentoring and guiding junior level scrum masters on SAFe principles and manifesto

- Organizing and leading a Community of Practice

- Independently participating, facilitating, and managing the outputs of all agile ceremonies

- Participating in the Scrum Master Communities of Practice, Scrum Master Sync Sessions, and Agile Release Train Sync Sessions

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

- SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification (within 180 days of hire) required

- 1-3 years in an Agile environment or 4+ years of experience in a project environment required

- Minimum 2 years experience in Scrum Master role or 1 year in Scrum Master Level I or 4+ years experience in servant-leader role required
