As our Relationship Officer, you’ll be the go-to officer for providing a high level of service to clients. You’ll be responsible for managing the account opening process for new and existing clients, facilitating the visitation process for all existing clients and executing all day-to-day responsibilities associated with the maintenance of all Know Your Customer (KYC) data.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with input of details to our client database, monitoring upcoming periodic review reports and work with Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure timely client contact

- Collect all required information and documentation from the client, completing profiles on internal KYC databases, including client profiles, account profiles, new account approval forms, visitation forms, etc.

- Partner with RMs to direct client engagement and service day-to-day banking needs as requested by RMs

- Accompany Relationship Managers on customer meetings to provide information about account opening requirements and product information

- Work with Operations, Compliance, and internal product partner teams to facilitate account opening approvals

- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

- Language skills: Mandarin and Cantonese (written and spoken) required

- Strong experience in private banking or equivalent high net worth client experience

- Client-focused with strong problem solving and relationship building skills

- Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- Strong knowledge of regulations affecting area of responsibility

- Excellent understanding of financial markets and products
