## Description

We are seeking a Lead Engineer, VP to join our team in Pune, India. As a Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading AI initiatives, designing and developing applications, and collaborating with global stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead all AI initiatives within the team and create cross-utilization of tools developed using AI

- Review code and help the team, creating a culture where AI is used heavily for all engineering activities

- Create AI agents that can help with automation for operations teams

- Adapt to AI tools available in the bank

- Hands-on experience with various technologies and lead the team on technical architecture

- Collaborate with global stakeholders and business partners for application/product delivery

- Experience in grooming and leading a team, with strong technical, programming, analytical, and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to bring in a strong engineering culture within the team with CI/CD, Sonar scans, and one-click deployments

- Responsible for providing Level 3 production support, change management for assigned applications, and diagnosing/troubleshooting/resolving production incidents

**Requirements:**

- Hands-on expertise with AI tooling, Agentic AI, and Gen AI models

- Full-stack developer experience with Java, React, Angular, microservices for at least 5 years

- End-to-end technical design, development, stabilization, and enhancement of distributed applications

- Deep, relevant AI and data expertise to help design and develop applications

- Collaboration with architects, business analysts, developers, and SCRUM masters to deliver suitable solutions

- Good understanding of Gen AI models with minimal banking experience

- Experience with GCP, creating, managing agents, and onboarding apps to GCP

- Ensure high-quality standards of deliverables according to industry standards and best practices

**Skills and Experience:**

- Hands-on experience with AI tools and minimal understanding of Java, APIs, React JS, Kafka, Cloud, DevOps, unit testing tools like JUnit

- Strong agile skills managing the business book of work along with DevOps, ITAO, and RTB squads

- Expertise with build tools – Jenkins, GitHub, TeamCity

- Functional expertise working in a financial bank domain would be a huge benefit

- Strong team player who can work under pressure, independently, and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations
