## Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work on mechanical building services designs for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings. You will work individually or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct heat load calculations, duct and pipe sizing, and pressure drop calculations.

- Select HVAC equipment such as chillers, AHUs, FCUs, boilers, fans, and pumps.

- Prepare technical submittals.

- Promote technical excellence in all projects.

- Undertake technical reviews, peer reviews, and checks.

- Develop positive relationships with the WSP Australian Team.

- Supervise, coordinate, and support other engineers and CAD technicians.

- Ensure health and safety is embedded in all work practices.

Requirements:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

- 3-8 years of experience in MEP mechanical design.

- Experience with software such as AutoCAD, MEP Revit, MicroStation, and drafting software.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

- Experience with associated discipline software (HAP, Hevacomp, IES).

- Fluency in English with excellent technical terminology understanding.

- Membership in an accredited engineering body (IMechE, CIBSE, ISHRAE, ASHRAE).

- Experience with HVAC design in Australia or UK projects.
