## Description

We are recruiting for a Gardener (Volunteer Facilitator) to join our team at the City of London Corporation. You will be responsible for maintaining our award-winning gardens to the highest standards, as well as working with the public, including delivering and supporting corporate volunteer days and engaging confidently with groups of volunteers.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 horticulture qualification, have good practical horticultural experience, ideally within busy urban green spaces, and be flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also be confident using mobile technology to work on the move.

As a Gardener (Volunteer Facilitator), you will have strong people skills and confidence engaging with and speaking to groups.

The salary for this role is £34,715 - £38,172 per year, inclusive of all allowances. The contractual hours are 37 hours per week, with a working pattern of 7:30 to 15:30, Monday to Thursday, finishing at 3:30, and 3:00 on Fridays.
