**About the Role**

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £18.24 for Waking night shifts.

This position involves 1 waking night per week on a Friday night.

**Term time** Friday - 22:00 - 8:00am

**Non-term time** Friday - 20:00 - 8:00am

**Main duties of the job**

- Assisting our client to meet their personal care and toileting needs

- Assisting our client with their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible

- Providing companionship and emotional support

- Helping with household tasks and meal preparation

- Supporting our client to attend appointments and community activities

- Administering medication when required

**What We're Looking For**

- A caring and empathetic nature

- Good communication skills

- A genuine desire to support others

- Basic IT and record-keeping skills

- A full UK driving licence is advantageous

- Experience in working with people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour would be an advantage – full training provided
