## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Developer to work on agentive workflow infrastructure. As a software developer, you will contribute to creating the execution infrastructure for artificial intelligence agents to transform intentions into functional games. You will be part of the loop that allows an agent to create, execute, evaluate, and correct its own work.

The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office at Montreal, Redwood City, or Vancouver.

Responsibilities:

- Create and expand the execution infrastructure for AI agents for game logic generation, including tool orchestration, context management, and integration with the engine.

- Collaborate with engine developers to integrate creator-focused systems into the main architecture of the engine to create generative creation workflows.

- Implement safety measures such as isolated environment execution, access permission control, content security and intellectual property checks, and human review steps before generated content is accessible to players.

- Design evaluation mechanisms for agent-produced results, integrating them into automated regression test suites.

- Collaborate with researchers, developers, artists, and designers to turn prototypes into production-ready features.

- Design extensible interfaces for rapid iteration of new technologies while preserving architectural integrity and developer usability.

- Determine how to formalize new technologies within the engine, influencing architecture and creator experience.

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of experience in software development with AAA game engines (such as Frostbite, Unity, Unreal, Godot).

- Expertise with C++ language.

- Experience with Python.

- Familiarity with execution infrastructures and workflows for AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode).

- Experience in context engineering, graph engineering, and long-duration workflow orchestration.

Benefits:

- Salary: $104,500 - $142,800 CAD (British Columbia) or $120,600 - $184,000 USD (California)

- Comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, sick time, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan
