## Description

The Senior Procurement Engineer, Intelligence Systems & Space, drives the strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril's product hardware across their lifecycles. This involves collaborating with suppliers and cross-functionally with teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Analyse the engineering Bill of Material (BOM) to ensure parts can be sourced and procured at a reasonable target level.

- Select suppliers for specific products, leveraging the approved supplier list and onboarding unique vendors.

- Drive on-time delivery using unique solutions to overcome traditional Space industry lead-times and supply constraints.

- Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through activities like concept scoping, feature trade-off tables, and joint design development.

- Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to ramp up production.

- Manage the total cost of the program, including New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production.

- Conduct value-stream mapping to optimise supply network lead time and flexibility.

- Complete the BOM risk assessment, including alternate component sourcing.

- Ensure completion of all component qualifications ahead of production.

- Reduce complexity through commonality optimisation and component/supplier rationalisation.

- Lead cost engineering activities to minimise the total cost of ownership (TCO) across the product lifecycle.

- Manage ad-hoc cost issues, such as tariffs and cost inflation.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.

- 5+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices.

- Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work.

- Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance.

- Ability to travel 10%-40% of the time.

- Willingness to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master's degree or advanced technical degree.

- Experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices.

- Advanced sourcing activities, including commodity/sourcing management.

- Supplier development experience.

- Early supplier engagement.

- Familiarity with high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

- Experience in the Space industry.

**Salary Range:** $129,000 - $171,000 USD
