## Description

We are seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Knights Grove Care Home in Southampton. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.

You will lead a dedicated team of housekeepers, inspiring them to maintain exceptional standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with maintenance and management teams

- Leading by example, performing tasks such as vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and general upkeep of communal areas and resident bedrooms

- Supervising housekeeping and laundry assistants, managing staff rotas, providing training, and ensuring housekeeping and domestic items are stocked and replenished as needed

To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Experience in a housekeeping role, with a proven track record of completing work to high standards

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to confidently lead and motivate a team

- An approachable and caring nature, with a desire to get to know residents and work closely with other teams
