## Description

As a Pure Math Tutor, you'll enhance xAI's AI technologies with high-quality inputs, labels, and annotations. You'll collaborate with the technical team to train models, refine annotation tools, and select complex pure math problems.

Responsibilities:

- Provide input/labels using proprietary software applications.

- Ensure high-quality curated data delivery.

- Support training new tasks and developing cutting-edge technologies.

- Improve annotation tool design.

- Choose problems from pure math subdomains like abstract algebra, real/complex analysis, and topology.

- Interpret, analyze, and execute tasks based on given instructions.

Basic Qualifications:

- Master's or PhD in Mathematics with a specialization in pure mathematics or a medal in an International Math Olympiad.

- Proficiency in reading and writing English.

- Strong navigation of information resources and databases.

- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities.

- Solid reading comprehension skills and autonomous judgment.

- Passion for technological advancements and innovation.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Math PhD with a specialization in pure mathematics.

- Peer-reviewed pure math publications.

- Previous AI Tutoring experience or teaching college courses.

Location and Other Expectations:

- Roles may be full-time, part-time, or contractor positions.

- Contractor hours vary widely, with flexibility to set own hours.

- Remote work allowed from any location worldwide, subject to legal eligibility and role-specific needs.

- Compensation: $45/hour - $75/hour for US-based candidates.
