## Description

WSP is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join their Power Delivery Team. This role involves providing technical leadership for high-voltage overhead transmission line projects, including research, design, concept development, planning, client interactions, and construction support.

The successful candidate will:

- Lead and execute transmission projects up to 765kV

- Create and maintain project schedules

- Conduct project meetings and coordinate with clients

- Maintain project workflow and communication across multi-disciplinary teams

- Forecast project requirements and facilitate QA/QC procedures

- Demonstrate expertise in transmission line design, PLS-CADD, and structure staking

- Lead project teams and travel to client offices or field/vendor facilities as needed

The ideal candidate has:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline

- 7-10 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design

- An engineering license

- Understanding of NESC, RUS, and/or GO-95

- Strong command of English and experience with Microsoft Office

- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adhering to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol policies

Preferred qualifications include:

- Field program planning and management

- Subcontractor management

- Cost estimating and scheduling

- Field experience

- MBA degree

- Experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD/MicroStation, and Foundation Design Software
