## Description

Salt Lake City is seeking an Hourly YouthCity Program Instructor II to supervise elementary and middle school-aged youth and implement YouthCity program goals. The YouthCity Afterschool Program operates through the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport youth to program activities

- Supervise youth during program activities

- Maintain attendance records

- Assist with program assessments

- Develop and plan weekly activities

- Follow program procedures to ensure participant safety

- Prepare, clean up, and maintain facilities

- Assist with daily snacks

- Attend staff meetings and training sessions

- Report to Senior Community Programs Manager

Requirements:

- High School graduate or equivalent

- At least 21 years old

- Experience working with school-aged children

- Valid driver's license or ability to obtain one within 3 months

- Group management skills

- Ability to work with diverse populations

- Conflict resolution skills

- Strong communication skills
