## Description

As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Palantir, you will work directly with customers to understand their problems and design and implement solutions using data.

You will apply your problem-solving skills, creativity, and technical expertise to help organizations drive real impact.

Your responsibilities will be similar to those of a startup CTO, working in small teams with minimal supervision, owning end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.

You will discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, code custom web apps, speak with customer executives, and establish strategy for your team.

You will learn how to unpack problems, understand solution costs and consequences, and develop new technologies and languages.

## What We Value

- Strong engineering background in fields like Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics.

- Experience with logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis is a plus.

- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and technical tools.

- Understanding of how technical decisions impact users.

- Strong coding skills in languages like Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript.

## Requirements

- Active US Security Clearance at or above the Secret level.

## Additional Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000/year. Total compensation may include Restricted Stock units, sign-on bonus, and other potential future incentives.
