## Description

We are seeking an experienced AV/IT Manager to lead the audiovisual operation at Soho House Los Cabos.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the audiovisual area, including budget management, team supervision, and coordination of technical needs for events.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the daily operation of the audiovisual area, driving improvements, innovation, and technical problem-solving.

- Provide technical and operational support for member and private events, including conferences, parties, film screenings, DJ sets, and live music.

- Offer technical advice and guidance to the Events team during the planning stage, identifying audiovisual needs and proposing operational solutions.

- Collaborate with leadership and operational teams to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions for events and audiovisual operations.

- Manage and supervise the audiovisual team, including scheduling, task allocation, and coordination of daily operations.

- Communicate clearly with operational teams and leadership about area needs and updates.

- Operate and supervise audiovisual equipment, including audio, projection, lighting, film, and live music equipment.

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid event disruptions.

- Oversee maintenance, control, and inventory of audiovisual equipment, and manage purchases or rentals of additional equipment as needed.

Requirements and skills:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality, entertainment, events, or audiovisual production.

- Knowledge and experience in operating, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audiovisual equipment, including audio, lighting, projection, consoles, DJ equipment, and live music systems.

- Experience working with events, conferences, film, live music activations, and presentations.

- Organized profile with attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and skill in resolving technical problems quickly and efficiently, as well as leading and coordinating a small team.

- Availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays according to the House's operation and events.

- Good communication and teamwork skills with different operational areas.

- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency is preferred.
