## Description

We are seeking an Allocation Manager to serve as a key member of our forensic accounting team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in accounting and finance, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

## Key Responsibilities

- Conduct preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production, and other accounting data

- Perform physical inventory observations and price testing

- Examine source documents relevant to engagements

- Carry out insightful quantitative analysis on potential policy exposure for complex commercial casualty insurance claims

- Develop and model loss allocation scenarios for mass torts, including Asbestos, Hazardous Waste, and Pharmaceuticals

- Create customised solutions based on client needs, integrating insurance, data, and jurisdictionally driven legal opinions

- Collect, organise, and clean data from various sources for modelling purposes

- Check and proof reports and schedules

- Conduct interviews to gather information

- Prepare preliminary drafts of report narratives and schedules

- Analyse and reconcile claims to final calculations

- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws

## Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related field

- At least three years of experience in allocating long-tail insurance claims

- Excellent Excel, Word, and data analysis skills

- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

- Organisational skills to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

- Attention to detail and adeptness at modelling qualitative issues quantitatively

- Knowledge of Python, VBA, HTML, or other coding languages is a plus

- Understanding of insurance principles, long-tail insurance claims, and jurisdictional intricacies
