## Description

We are seeking a Manageability Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a Manageability Firmware Engineer, you will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug firmware for HPE server platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Design limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software

- Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required

- Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation

- Participate as a member of project team to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions

- Collaborate and communicate with internal and outsourced development partners

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent

- Typically 2+ years of firmware development experience

- In-depth knowledge of Python, Linux shell scripts, C/C++

- Experience with memory-safe languages such as Rust

- Knowledge of OpenBMC and Yocto build environment

- Knowledge of low-level Linux drivers, low-level HW communication protocols

- Experience using software systems design tools and languages

- Working knowledge of integrating AI into dev and test cycles

- Knowledge of secure SW development life cycle

- Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills
