Job Description:

We are seeking a Youth Staff member to join our team on board our ships. As a Youth Staff member, you will be responsible for implementing and supervising programs and activities for children and teens in accordance with safety requirements and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and supervise programs and activities for children and teens in accordance with safety requirements and company guidelines.

- Deliver a welcoming and entertaining youth experience for our guests in accordance with brand standards.

- Own your experience area and support the development, implementation, and execution of initiatives.

- Provide excellent service by demonstrating enthusiasm and genuine interest while working with both parents and children.

- Help the Youth Activities Manager plan and prepare activity schedules for all age groups.

- Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, and communicate procurement needs to the Youth Activities Manager.

- Assist with prompt and accurate Youth Program documentation and administration.

Requirements:

- Formal education or credential in education or related field is strongly preferred.

- A minimum of two years previous work experience in a youth-related field is required.

- Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written.

- Knowledge of additional languages is preferred.

- Understanding of the foundation of guest service; ability and willingness to deliver outstanding service to our guests.

- Motivation to excel in all aspects of job duties and responsibilities.

- Personable communicator with outstanding social skills and a warm, friendly, and caring personality.

- Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience.

- Commitment to establish and maintain courteous and professional working relationships in a diverse cultural environment.
