## Description

Salesforce is seeking a Data Architect to join its Data Foundation Pre-Sales team. As a Data Architect, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, leveraging your deep technical expertise in data governance, cataloguing, data quality, and data infrastructure to guide them through Informatica and MuleSoft solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Work with customers to envision the transformation of their businesses through Data platform offerings

- Guide customers through Informatica and MuleSoft solutions, focusing on Data and AI within Salesforce

- Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and C-level leaders throughout the sales cycle

- Qualify opportunities and ensure customers realize the platform's full value

- Support customers' enterprise architects and domain architects to build an Architectural Vision and to-be Architecture for Agentic and Data Transformation

Requirements:

- Proven ability to analyse complex customer challenges and architect innovative Data solutions

- Practical understanding of hybrid software deployments, database design, data warehousing, or business intelligence concepts

- Expertise in orchestrating inclusive, targeted technical workshops to guide key decisions and align architectural best practices with customers' core business priorities

- Track record of producing clear architectural diagrams and best-practice documentation

- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time across the UK and Ireland region

Nice to Have:

- Prior exposure to storytelling and sales partnership

- Hands-on implementation experience with data governance and quality tools

- Architectural experience with Informatica or MuleSoft tools

- In-depth knowledge of compliance mandates (e.g., GDPR, BCBS239, EU AI Act)

- Advanced AI concepts and emerging generative workflows
