## Description

At Ford Motor Company, we believe data tells the real story. We are redefining mobility and require quality data, metrics, and analytics, as well as insightful interpreters and analysts. As a Data Scientist, you will develop and maintain advanced analytics capabilities essential for pricing and go-to-market strategies, including product allocation, distribution, and mix optimization. You will collaborate with Ford's Global Data Insights & Analytics and IT teams.

You will utilize Python, SQL, and machine learning, alongside experience with cloud platforms, including Google Cloud. You will translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and apply the most relevant quantitative modeling techniques and tools in statistical analysis, econometrics, operation research/optimization, data science, machine/deep learning techniques to a variety of real-world business problems within the automotive industry, focusing on marketing and sales areas.

You will enable evidence-based decision making by extracting, managing, and exploring a variety of data sources and extracting insights from structured and unstructured data sets that are often large and high-dimensional. You will identify new and novel data sources and explore their potential use in developing actionable business insights and ensure overall quality of the data and solutions throughout the analytics development process.

You will maintain and enhance existing econometrics models supporting business daily decisions and integrate validation results and visualize analysis/prediction result through visualization tools to provide qualitative overview. You will assist in communicating and presenting models and analytical results to business customers and upper management and collaborate with other teams within GDIA in the model development and delivery processes.
