## Description

We are seeking an R&D Engineer II to work in Waltham, MA. As an R&D Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems. You will collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Perform moderately complex development activities, including design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules and sub-systems.

- Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products.

- Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions.

- Understand marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study.

- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field of study, and two years of experience in a related position.

- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases for storing and querying application data.

- Experience working with AWS, particularly with serverless functions, S3, SQS, and CloudWatch.

- Experience working with Docker to build and containerize cloud-native applications in a large-scale software development environment.

Rate of Pay: $131,082.00 per year.
