## Description

We are seeking a Corporate Action and Income Analyst- Associate to join our Asset Services team in Pune, India.

The Associate will work in coordination with the staff within the department and team managers to ensure all tasks and day-to-day operations are managed with ease. The Associate will also work alongside co-associates, AVP and VPs within Asset Services to address and escalate all operational issues.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring day-to-day operations function smoothly and issues are resolved for teams

- Transitioning new processes within Asset Services, including formulating strategy, hiring people, and working with onshore teams

- Providing daily support and guidance to staff within the department

- Managing a team and ensuring effective staff development, performance appraisals, and engagement

- Building a strong mechanism to handle volume peaks during peak season

- Identifying operational risks proactively and mitigating them

- Serving as an internal/external escalation point

Requirements:

- 5-10 years of experience in investment banking operations, custody operations, or securities operations, with at least 1-2 years of experience in Corporate Actions/Asset Services

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organisational and interpersonal skills

- Ability to identify and develop strong working relationships with internal and external client groups

- Strong English written and verbal skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
