## Description

As part of Ford's Forward Model Launch Team, you'll help build state-of-the-art smart vehicles. As a key member of the MP&L Supplier Management team, you can add critical value to the organisation. You'll contribute to establishing a robust supply chain both at supplier side and internally so that Ford can continually produce the vehicles customers want.

### Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure effective communication and cooperation.

- Lead training for suppliers in various geographic locations on Ford's new ERP system SAP (MM Module).

- Monitor and analyse supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement.

- Conduct Launch Readiness reviews / audits with suppliers for new model programs at supplier sites.

- Clearly document findings and analysis in Super G Ford Supplier readiness system.

- Lead evaluation of suppliers for Ford Plants' Capacity Uplifts & Shift additions.

- Rate supplier's readiness for each program and ensure 100% audits are completed 30 days prior to MP1.

- Perform risk analysis and act on findings within the Technical Teams and Forums for new, critical, or greenfield/brownfield suppliers.

- Collaborate with STA / Purchasing to ensure supplier noncompliance issues pertaining to launch readiness are escalated on time & resolved.

- Provide onsite MP&L support, assistance, education, and training for distressed suppliers.

- Root cause analysis in Super G to understand and work with suppliers to improve delivery performance.

- Act as MP&L lead for Ford supplier engagement teams.

- Support current production in emergency situations with onsite reviews and/or extended onsite MP&L support.

- Travel to suppliers & plant locations.

- Collaborate with Purchasing on Sourcing/Resourcing Actions.

### Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management or Business Administration. Master's degree preferred.

- 3+ years of experience in an OEM or Tier 1 company, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Knowledge and deep understanding of Supply Chain Management software SAP – MM Module.

- Strong knowledge in Ford MP&L (Supply Chain) systems like CMMS, Super G, GCP, MCPV.

- Experience in new supplier evaluation and supplier development.

- Proven track record in supply chain operations.

- Well-versed with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

- Experience in Large Data Handling/Management.

- Strong data analytical skills to gather data from multiple sources to identify root causes, trends & insights and recommend operational improvements on Supplier Delivery Performance.

- Strong storytelling capabilities with data to enable data-driven decision-making benefiting the organisation.
