## Description

Okta is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join its team. This role involves building and maintaining highly reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure for Okta's security SaaS offerings.

## Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure for security SaaS offerings, focusing on high availability, performance, and scalability.

- Develop automation to eliminate manual processes and proactively solve complex problems.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems and data platforms comply with industry standards.

- Participate in on-call rotations and lead root cause analysis for critical incidents.

- Provide expert guidance on architectural decisions and best practices to development, data science, and security teams.

## Key Skills & Qualifications

- Strong coding skills for solving operational challenges.

- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and tools like Spinnaker.

- Expertise in container technologies and Kubernetes.

- Experience with database schema management tools like Flyway.

- Direct experience with large-scale data systems, specifically Snowflake.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to Okta's office during the first week of employment.
