## Description

As a Software Engineer Sr Advisor at GDIT, you will deliver simple solutions to complex problems, tailoring cutting-edge solutions to the unique requirements of clients. You will prioritize the end user's experience and focus on career growth.

Responsibilities include:

- Coding, testing, integrating, and documenting software solutions

- Applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to develop complex solutions

- Participating as a Subject Matter Expert in internal reviews of software components and systems

- Working on the hardest technical problems facing the company, requiring creativity and innovation

- Applying and championing standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle

- Leading large technical tasks, teams, and projects with minimal supervision

- Keeping abreast of technology trends and championing new ideas and process improvements

Basic qualifications:

- Web development experience

- C# with ASP.Net Web Forms or ASP.Net MVC

- Alternatively, strong development skills in Java and a willingness to learn C#

- Database experience

- HTML and CSS skills

- Deployment experience with a web server

Education and experience:

- A Bachelor's in software engineering or a related technical field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

- Or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience

- Agile experience preferred

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385.
