The Payments Operations Analyst bridges the gap between product owners and partner requirements, turning operational complexity into clear, actionable insight. This role is the operational backbone of payment integrations, ensuring gateways and merchant relationships move from onboarding to production with speed, precision, and zero ambiguity.

You will serve as the central coordinator between external payment gateways, merchants, and internal Product and Commercial teams, managing production credentials, resolving blockers, and keeping integrations on track.

Your Contribution Will Be:

- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to align credential readiness with integration timelines and launch schedules

- Serve as the primary point of contact between payment gateways, merchants, and internal teams, owning the end-to-end process of collecting, validating, and securing production credentials

- Proactively identify and resolve onboarding blockers with relentless follow-up

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with gateway and merchant counterparts

- Continuously audit the end-to-end onboarding workflow to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements

- Own dashboards, KPIs, and reporting cadences for real-time visibility into business health and operational performance

## Skills You Need

### Minimum Qualifications

- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills

- 2+ years of experience in payments operations, merchant onboarding, or a coordination-heavy role within fintech or financial services

- Solid understanding of payment gateway ecosystems, production credentials, and the technical onboarding lifecycle

- Proven ability to manage multiple onboarding workstreams simultaneously

- Strong follow-up and accountability discipline

- Highly organized with experience building and maintaining trackers and operational documentation

### Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with API-based payment integrations and technical requirements

- Exposure to merchant onboarding at scale across multiple markets or regions

- Background in a fast-scaling fintech, payments company, or high-growth tech startup

- Experience using project management or tracking tools like Jira or Notion
