## Description

We are hiring experienced teachers for our network of public charter schools in Manhattan and Queens. As a teacher at Success Academy, you will play a part in giving every student a fair shot at reaching their potential.

You will join a team of professionals committed to teaching and preparing children from low-income neighborhoods to be self-assured thinkers and leaders. A background in education is not required, but a bachelor's degree and a rigorous academic major are necessary.

As a teacher at Success Academy, you will:

- Develop strong relationships with students, families, and peers

- Become a skilled problem solver able to tackle challenges in and out of the classroom

- Analyze data to chart student growth and achievement

- Engage in professional development opportunities with school leaders

- Grow as a leader and potentially become a leader of a grade team or assistant principal

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree

- Ability to work in person in New York City

- Supervise a classroom of 20+ students
