## Description

We are looking for a Author for technical publications to join Ford Business Solutions. The role focuses on coordinating workshop manuals, service labor times, and technical service publications for various vehicle systems, while working closely with suppliers and internal teams to improve repair processes and support dealer operations across Europe.

Responsibilities:

- Coordination and creation of service literature (workshop manual) and service labor times for specific vehicle sections. Most likely for Transmissions, AC systems & Interior. This also requires to coordinate the work from our suppliers for service publication.

- Coordinating and reviewing service literature and service labor time complaints.

- Creation and publication of TSBs / GSBs (Technical / General Service Bulletins: Dealer Communication).

- Support feasibility studies of repair instructions and reconciliation of repair processes in order to improve repair efficiency.

- Link between the EU team and other departments within Ford, such as UCS (Upstream Customer Service), Product Development, PVT (Plant Vehicle Team), and RPP (Repair Product Planning).

- Planning of workshop resources.

- Plan and release financial resources for suppliers for service information for development of literature and translations, as well as control of costs and services within the framework of the contract terms and monitoring of the existing budget.

Qualifications:

- Completed bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering, mechatronics, mechatronic systems or equivalent education.

- Business fluent English skills

- Proficient in the use of common MS-Office applications

- Experience in repairing and diagnosing vehicles is vital

- Knowledge on XML authoring is an advantage

- Experience with Teamcenter, Photoshop and Illustrator is desirable

- Experience with authoring content management systems is an advantage

- Likes to work in a team and shows strong communication skills
