## Description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our 2027 Customer and Digital - Data and Analytics Summer Internship Programme in London.

As an intern in our retail banking and data analytics division, you will participate in day-to-day activities, providing insights and expertise to help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.

**Responsibilities**

- Execute small research projects and prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives

- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

- Identify opportunities and develop business cases for new products and services

- Manage client relationships and provide customer service support

- Develop and implement financial models and strategies to support decision making

- Train and mentor junior colleagues

**Analyst Expectations**

- Perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, driving continuous improvement

- Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge and experience in assigned area of expertise

- Lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development

- Develop technical expertise in work area, acting as an advisor where appropriate

- Partner with other functions and business areas

- Take responsibility for end results of team's operational processing and activities

- Escalate breaches of policies and procedures

- Embed new policies and procedures adopted due to risk mitigation

- Advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise

- Manage risk and strengthen controls in relation to work owned or contributed to
