## Description

Chime's Growth Engineering team builds product experiences that drive business metrics and help millions of people achieve financial progress. As a full stack Growth Engineer, you'll work across the stack - React and TypeScript on the front end, Rails and Go services behind it - to build features that drive member growth at Chime.

In this role, you can expect to:

- Build and ship growth-focused consumer features end to end - React and TypeScript interfaces, services and APIs, and experiments

- Collaborate cross-functionally with mobile, product, design, data science, and marketing teams to identify member pain points and opportunities

- Rapidly prototype and launch A/B tests, iterating on ideas that improve activation, conversion, and engagement

- Analyze feature performance post-launch to inform future iterations and growth strategies

- Apply a metrics-driven mindset to decision-making and prioritize efforts based on member and business impact

- Improve reliability, scalability, and performance across the stack

- Contribute to a culture of technical excellence through mentorship, code reviews, and driving best practices

To thrive in this role, you have:

- 2+ years of experience building scalable software in production environments

- Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks (React or comparable) and server-side frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Go, or comparable)

- Experience designing APIs, working with transactional databases and caching, and client-side state and performance

- Comfort owning a feature across the full stack, and eagerness to learn new parts

- A product mindset with a strong bias toward experimentation, iteration, and measuring impact

- Exposure to large-scale architecture patterns and an appreciation for clean, maintainable code

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience is $133,000-$184,000 USD. Full-time employees may also be eligible for bonus(es), competitive equity, and benefits.
