## Description

As a Registered Nurse with The Menta Education Group, you will oversee the health and well-being of students, act as a resource for health education, and maintain student records and data for compliance purposes.

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, following a school calendar. No nights, no weekends.

## Responsibilities

- Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services.

- Document each instance of medication administration.

- Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation.

- Maintain the security of school health supplies.

- Instruct students in health education.

- Correspond with parents and medical providers on students' health needs.

- Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.

- Maintain accurate related service logs updated weekly.

- Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed.

- Develop Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies.

## Qualifications

- Current and active Registered Nurse license.

- Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and their treatment.

- Understanding of child growth and development.

- Familiarity with public health problems and procedures.

- Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations affecting school health services.

- Ability to coordinate services between the school, local health agencies, and community resources.
