## Data Engineer Role

The Data Engineer role at Porsche Engineering Romania is essential to digitalization transformation, providing the technical foundation for AI solutions. Working in a SAFe environment, the role supports digital transformation by designing data models, building reliable data pipelines, and ensuring high data quality.

### Responsibilities

- Design and implement application data models

- Integrate and process data from various sources

- Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and integration pipelines

- Ensure data quality and lineage

- Orchestrate data architectures for cross-functional teams

- Collaborate with international project teams

### Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education

- Experience with SQL

- Knowledge of software development for data pipelines and visualization

- Familiarity with data management and pipeline deployment

- Programming experience (Python)

- Interest in building cloud-based data transformation pipelines

- Development of data-lake platforms skills (Azure Databricks)

- Knowledge of CI/CD and containerization tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)

- Fluent English; knowledge of German is considered a plus

- Team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
