## Description

We are seeking an intern to join our Production team as a Biotechnologist focusing on Gene synthesis.

GenScript Biotech Corporation, founded in 2002, accelerates innovation in biotech and healthcare.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Synthesize targeted genes according to customer requirements and departmental procedures.

- Perform experimental procedures including PCR, Ligation Transformation, Bacterial Inspection, Plasmid Construction, and Quality Inspection.

- Conduct data record analysis and result evaluation.

- Adhere strictly to safety production management regulations and product production SOP requirements.

- Operate experiments independently in areas such as Gene Synthesis, Vector Construction, Gene Mutation, Plasmid Extraction, Sequence Analysis, Sequencing, PCR & qPCR, Reagent Preparation, and Quality Inspection.

- Identify and report problems in the production process, actively solving issues with the team.

- Ensure proper handover of experiments and perform simple analysis of unfinished experiments.

- Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

**Key Requirements**

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or related fields.

- Solid foundation in Molecular Biology and Cell Biology; strong background in experimental operations; familiarity with conventional genetic engineering techniques is preferred.

- Strong sense of achievement; resilient and able to perform under pressure.

- Team player with good communication skills (verbal and written).

- Available to work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week.
