## Description

Join our team as a Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Skilled Rehab team at Good Samaritan Maplewood. The position is PRN covering the Skilled Nursing Facility on the weekends for admissions, discharges, or other necessary patients. This position can also assist with other locations if time in the metro or throughout the week with PTO needs.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

- Plan, organize and deliver physical therapy programs that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities.

- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions clients/patients/residents who are affected by injury or disease.

- Utilize tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards.

- Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary.

- Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.

We have 3 full time PT and 2 full time PTA as well. New grads welcomed!

Based on facility needs and assigned locations, may focus on those receiving intervention in the post-acute, long term care and home health care environments.
