As a GL Staff Accountant, your specific responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining assigned general ledger accounts by preparing journal entries and reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and resolving open items.

- Supporting treasury activities through bank reconciliations, payment preparation, and review of cash receipts and disbursements.

- Managing fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting, including schedules, depreciation or amortization, and related reconciliations.

- Preparing payroll accounting and related headcount, wage, and expense reporting.

- Serving as a key contributor to month-end close by completing assigned procedures, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting entries.

- Maintaining accurate accounting records and payment information, supporting audit requests, and helping to improve accounting processes and control.

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

- 1–2 years of general accounting, finance, or related business experience.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required.

- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (including use of formulas/functions, pivot tables, power query, and ability to sort and analyze data sets to identify errors).

- Experience with ERP systems, preferred.

- SQL knowledge, preferred.

- Confident working with internal and external customers.

- Working knowledge of GAAP.
